Main window

Main window of the application consists of a grid of Slots. Each Slot represents a separate source that can be previewed and recorded.

Slot

There are various informations and buttons displayed on top of the live video preview.

VU-meters

Visible only when Show audio levels is selected.

Slot number and NDI source name

The displayed source name can be overwritten using the Display name field in Slot Settings.

Slot Settings button

Audio output button

Toggles playback of source's audio using the default sound device.

Recording button

It will not be displayed if the source is set to Viewing only.

Color of the button indicates recording status:
grey - not recording
orange - recording requested but has not started yet
red - recording in progress

Low drive space warning

Displays space (GB) left on the recording location.

A/B location switch

Visible when Enable A/B recording is selected in Settings.
Indicates the currently chosen location. It can be used to switch the location before or during recording.

Multiple selection

Multiple slots can be selected to make adjustments to their settings at once. Clicking on the empty area on the Slot selects it, which is indicated with a purple border. Double click on any Slot to deselect all. Click the Settings button on any of the selected slots to open the Slot Settings window for the selected slots.

Top menu

Hover over top-right part of the window to see an additional menu. Buttons include: NDI.tv link, Settings, Start All button, and Fullscreen button.

Start All button

Starts recording on all slots armed for recording (with recording enabled and connected to an NDI source).
